Although he isn't the most fiercsome to look at, his frame wiry and lean, but he stood at a height of about 5'10" gave him a fair amount of height to work with. His head is covered with messy black ebony locks that shine like midnight and remain in a perpetually messy state.

-ABOUT-
Personality (200 character minimum): Kankri is a very by the book sort of young man, he follows the rules to the T and will reprimand those who break them. In short he is one of the biggest sticks in the mud you'll ever find, unless you happen to be breaking the rules for a good cause or fighting against authority then he may turn a blind eye or even help out depending on the situtaion. Kankri has a dislike for most authority figures and the whole blood purity system in general and would regularly lecture his house members whenever they'd bring it up (Which was a lot). And despite his usual teacher's pet demeanor he still has a nasty temper and it occasionally makes itself known during moment's of great frustration or annoyance. Like invading his personal space, using either of his middle names, and especially mocking said middle names for being weird. He constantly wonders why did his parents have to give him two of them, he would not have minded Majid or Thanatos shortened to Than but he finds both to be overkill.
Background (Why Hogwarts? Childhood? Any connections to other characters?): Kankri and Karkat were both half brothers who never really got to know each other as children as Karkat was taken by his father after he was contacted by their mother about the strange on goings happening leaving it to be just the two of them. A few months before Karkat was conceived, Kankri's father died in a car accident on his way to work and his mother it badly. So much so for a while she would leave Kankri with a neighbor so she can drown away her sorrows (Which is how she met Slick and had that one romp). He was aware he had a younger half-brother for a while but didn't get to meet him until Karkat's first year at Hogwarts.
When he was 7, his mother died from cancer and he was sent to live with his father’s brother but he deemed was unfit to take care of him and so he went through various foster homes. Most of the time he never stayed in one for long was because he’d be too much of a handful to deal with and would run away at times until he is found again and handed off to another foster family. And sometimes he’d remain on the streets for long stretches of time until he’s caught by the proper authorities and while he was on the streets he'd cheat and steal from people to get by.
This persisted cycle repeated itself until he receives his letter to Hogwarts and he begins to be less of a hassle for his foster parent (Mainly due to the fact he’s gone most of the year now). Over all he's gone from being a hot tempered spitfire to a wordy young man who has a better grip on when he should and shouldn't back talk and a strong dislike for the system (Both magical and muggle). When he discovered the amount of blood classicism in the wizarding world along with the sheer amount of ignorance of muggles he couldn't help but wonder how does magic appear in people in the first place.
"Honestly how does it appear when it's apparently through blood, but muggleborns can exist? How did the first traces of magic appear? Why is it that people insist that purebloods are superior when any half blood or none magical parent having witch or wizard can preform magic just as well? If anything pure bloods are likely to be the most inbred considering how obsessed they are keeping the bloodline pure, no wonder the magical world is so medival, you're all still marrying your second cousins for an arbitrary classiest system that honestly has no reason to exist other then keeping the rich and old family lines in power." Would be among the many inquires the younger Kankri would have, obviously he wasn't very well like by much of his peers for one reason or another but to put it in short he was a little shit.
For Professors: Why is your character teaching the class they are?: N/A
Quirks & Et cetera (Anything else you would like to add?): He has a dislike of surprise physical contact and will lash out if someone touches him, mostly verbally unless he is bothered enough. He is able to see the Thestrals pulling the carriages because he was there when his mother died. He also still has a few skills he learned in the streets but doesn't use them as much due to no longer really needing to. And he has a whistle he would use to announce to rule breakers that he was there, he noticed some of them would take off as soon as they heard his whistle so he also takes to walking up behind the trouble makers and clear his throat before docking points. He also isn't above passively starting shit to have a reason to take away points from other houses or being purposely uptight with the rules and taking points for minor things, playing by the book doesn't mean it has to be fair. His patronus is a dragon, specifically an Arabian shrieker.
